What is VeChain Blockchain?
VeChain is a blockchain-as-service platform that was originally built on the Ethereum smart contract service. The mainnet of VeChain launched in June 2018. VeChain roadmap is mainly focused on the supply chain and facilitating the Internet of Things solutions. VET crypto is the main currency of VeChain and VeThor token (VTHO) is used for paying tokenised transactions. The current VET price can be checked on Coinmarketcap here.
Actually, the supply chain is a grand industry – everything that you can purchase has its own supply chain. If you do not yet know much about what supply chain is, you can check this handy article.

Step 2. As you are on the main page, you will see the Create a Wallet button in the right corner – press it and proceed to the welcome screen. Once on the welcome screen, click Create a New wallet again – this will take you to the next step.
Step 3. Having a good wallet password is a great way to keep your funds safe. Make sure that the pass you choose has enough characters and combines uppercase letters, lowercase letters and numbers/symbols. If you are not sure in the security of your password, please check this guide.
Step 4. Cryptocurrency wallet backup is essential for VET and VeThor token management. You can only access your funds with a combination of your Guarda backup and your wallet password. Non-custodial wallets do not store the user’s personal data, so backup needs to be stored securely and out of the public eye. Please note that the Guarda Wallet team will not be able to restore your backup in case of a loss, as we do not have any access to them.
Step 5. Congratulations, you have successfully created a VET and VTHO wallet on Guarda. Now you are ready to store, send, receive and exchange your VeChain coins and tokens in non-custodial security. Besides, over 40 major coins and more than 10k tokens are available for management, too.
