Ren Wallet

It is a blockchain project that defines itself as the first and only open-source protocol that provides access to liquidity between blockchains for all decentralized applications (dApps). In other words, the REN project allows the communication and sending of tokens between different blockchains using smart contracts.

The platform relies on RenVM, which is a decentralized virtual machine that does not require trust, and functions as an engine for the platform. RenVM runs on a new secure computing algorithm that enables secure computing with multiple inputs and multiple parties. This increases the level of privacy for dApps. REN allows developers to bring multiple blockchain functionality to their dApps.

REN is the native token of the Ren VM network. What distinguishes the REN token and the Ren protocol from other systems and their native cryptocurrencies is that users do not need to have its token to use the Ren network. Instead, you can use the network to transfer other cryptocurrencies across the blockchain and pay any fees using a specific blockchain currency. As for who needs to manage RenVM, a group of computers called DarkNodes handles that. DarkNodes help the system by adding bandwidth and processing power to the network. Anyone is able to manage one of these DarkNodes, but it requires a deposit of 100,000 REN, which is fixed in a smart contract.
